California to Georgia

Hey everyone! I haven’t posted on my blog in the last two weeks. As many of you know, I just flew to Los Angeles and then drove back to Georgia. Because of this, I haven’t had a chance to pull my laptop out and link my outfits. However, I have been posting on my Instagram page and stories to keep you guys updated. Why did I do this? My boyfriend had been living in Los Angeles for the past two years and decided to move back to Georgia. We’re from the same hometown, so I am very excited about him being closer to home. We have been together and doing long distance since the end of December. Anyway, let’s talk about what I wore.

Here I am in the streets of Beverly Hills! California does not get near as hot as Georgia gets, so I wore jeans or pants every day I was here. If you are looking for a low price pair of black jeans, these are great. Seriously on $20?? They are comfortable too. I walked around Hollywood all day in them and did not have any problems. Because they are only $20, I am not expecting them to be very reliable and last long. But they were fun to wear and looked super cute. I am wearing a 00. This top is one of my favorites. I ordered it in this green/khaki color and black. I have a size 0 in both. The front straps are adjustable, so you can tie the top however tight or loose. I purchased my shoes from City Market a while ago. But I did find them here at Nordstrom. Again, on this day, I walked all over Hollywood, and these shoes gave me no problem. They feel like you are wearing super comfortable flats. They fit true to size. You can find my belt here.

A windy day in Santa Monica! As I said earlier, California does not get near as hot as Georgia, that explains why I am wearing a sweater and jeans. Side note, always check the weather before you travel. I didn’t until the last minute and had only shorts, and tank tops packed. But thankfully I had these easy and cute outfits to throw in my suitcase. My jeans are from American Eagle. I ordered these back in March, and they are not available anymore:( But I did find some similar you can find here and here. The pair I am wearing are the Tomgirl jeans, and the two I linked are Mom jeans. They both have the looser fit and are very similar. My tank/undershirt is from Target, and I am in a size XS. I have shown you guys this sweater before, and it is still not available on Target online. I have seen it in the store recently. It is the Wild Fable brand. I did find this sweater that is super cute and somewhat similar to mine. My shoes are here.

Here is my look at the Desert Botanical Garden. To start our road trip, we drove to Phoenix, AZ ,and stayed the night there. That next morning before leaving, we went to the Botanical Garden. It was so beautiful!! I loved Phoenix and could have stayed there the whole day. Here is my top. I purchased a lot of shirts like this for the road trip. They’re cheap, comfortable, and cuter than just a t-shirt. We made a lot of stops along the way, so I wanted to look somewhat presentable. Here are my shorts. I am wearing the same snakeskin belt that was linked above, and my shoes are Adidas baseline shoes I bought at TJ Max. Similar to these.

Thank you all for reading today’s post! If you have any questions about my trip, feel free to ask! If you want to see any more pictures from the road trip then take a look at my travel highlight on my Instagram page:)
